Sterling Silver Dangles & Charms
A charm is a ornament typically worn on a necklace or bracelet. A dangle is a charm that, well, dangles from the bracelet or necklace. The term "charm" is most often used to describe a small ornament that is representational in form -- in looks like something. "Dangle" is often used to refer to more abstract hanging ornaments. Many of us actually used one term or the other to cover all small items used to decorate a piece of jewelry.
In truth, many charms are so small that their form is unlikely to be noticed by others. They may be incorporated into a piece of jewelry because they represent something of value to the wearer, not to make a statement ot others. Other charms are intermediate in size and could easily be classified as petite pendants.
