Sterling Silver Bangle Bracelets

Our silversmiths have taken the basic idea of the sterling silver bangle and given it a Balinese feel.  Notice the intricate wiring with silver granulations, reflective of traditional Bali design, exhibited on most of our designs.  Our nephew Ming designed these bangles with the beaded jewelry maker in mind.

One bead screw can be removed with a few twists to allow you to build your own beaded treasure.  In our later designs, we came out with models in which both end caps could be unscrewed. The workings of this bangle are shown in the photograph to the right.

bangleTo the left you can see how one of our bangles was used as the starting point for an absolutely stunning bracelet made by Trish Kirkham, a professional jewelry maker from Southern California .

Tip: If you intend to use small, light beads, a 2 mm bangle would be a perfect choice. If you plan to use heavier beads, a 3 mm bangle should be used. (A 2 mm bangle will have too much "give" if you ornate it with heavier, larger beads.)
