Glass Eye Beads
If you look carefully, you will see that these beads incorporate a representation of the eye. It was believed that these eye beads could keep evil spirits away. These beads have been called "evil eye beads," which is a bit of a misnomer given their evil-repelling properties.
The representation of the eye is very realistic in some of these beads and more abstract in others.
