Beads of Bali

Indonesian glass beads are still made with the traditional lampwork methods that have been in use for more than a thousand years. Many of these designs were made for us alone and, sadly, are not currently available elsewhere. Others are contemporary replicas of ancient beads that are perfect when you want a rustic or vintage look!  Rest assured, all of our glass craftspersons are adults!

We feature nearly a thousand different styles of Indonesian glass beads and have thus organized them into a number of focused categories.

The glass beads of Indonesia are almost always made in Java.
